Who Are We and What We Do
Some of the people at St Andrew's
Churchwardens
Emma Jackson and Helen Thompson
Our two churchwardens are representatives of the congregation and the Bishop. The make sure that the church building is maintained and that the church runs according to church and civil law. They also have a legal responsibility to make sure that services are conducted properly and that the congregation are not being rowdy. Helen and Emma work closely to grow a healthy church in Tangmere.
PCC
Representatives of the church
Our PCC is the engine room of the church. They make sure that everything happens! Helen and Emma work to put plans into practice and to grow our church in terms of numbers and spiritual well being. They also look to securing financial stability and making sure that the building will be here for hundreds of years to come.
Our Church Family
The People of St Andrew's
We are a mixed bunch of all ages and from all backgrounds. We meet together to worship God, to learn of the Good News of Christ and to get to know God and each other. Everyone is welcome to come and share in God's love.
