    Priest in Charge

    Revd Trevor Marshall

I am the Priest in Charge for Tangmere and Oving. I work for the church part time and work in a residential care home for the rest of the week. I am married to Lindsey and have two grown up children who still live in the area. Before ordination, I worked as an engineer and management consultant in telecommunications and financial services. We lived for many year in the Brighton area. Since ordination, we moved to Chichester/Bognor Regis. We have a great love for the area and all that it offers, and look forward to exploring even more of it in the days to come. With my time off, I enjoy pottering in the garage restoring bicycles from the days when I was young and fit. I have a love of music and I enjoy good food and exploring the local restaurants.

    Churchwardens

    Emma Mallinson and Helen Thompson

Our two churchwardens are representatives of the congregation and the Bishop. The make sure that the church building is maintained and that the church runs according to church and civil law. They also have a legal responsibility to make sure that services are conducted properly and that the congregation are not being rowdy. Helen and Emma work closely with Trevor and look to grow a healthy church in Tangmere.

Our PCC is the engine room of the church. They make sure that everything happens! They work with Trevor, Helen and Emma to put plans into practice and to grow our church in terms of numbers and spiritual well being. They also look to securing financial stability and making sure that the building will be here for hundreds of years to come.
